    Love this scooter, really boogies down the street, I caught a flat recently but the service from Jason and Sam was super fast and reliable even all the way down here in Toronto. I’m happy with my purchase 🙂

    The service was great and Tom who was the dealer was so kind and helpful. I got the city elite and it is so much fun so if you’re looking for a good scooter synergy is a safe bet! (;

    Bought one last summer and still riding thru the winter . This is a torquey beast , and can handle rough terrain with ease . My 2 other scooters are collecting dust however the only downside is, the battery will last maybe 2 hrs non stop riding . The best range is on paved roads and if you plan to buy one be sure to puncture proof the tires with an inner liner or tire seal , no flats since last summer . Wear a helmet.

    If you are shopping about and seeking a reliable scooter and unsure about shopping on line and ordering one without seeing it, then I recommend THIS scooter.

    I have tried the Canadian tire and even Amazon. I have returned them either because charging them is unreasonable or there is something off like a wobble or rough ride. I was seeking something compatible to the rental types like Lime, Bird or Neutron. I was looked a long time too. There isn’t much out there until I found this webpage North49.

    It was hard to research because when I bought it a couple years ago, it was brand new on the market. Like everything, I looked at warranty and a place I could take it for tune up or repair.

    Amazingly, in Calgary here, the place you buy it, is the place that fixes and tunes them up. They are bit out of the way but worth it.

    Keep in mind, I am 52 and below average in shape; yet this scooter is perfect for me. It has speed cap settings; In number 1. It is about 15km, in setting 2. It is about 23-25km. In setting 3. It is 35km. I am in setting 3 most of the time when I use the shoulder of a road and setting 1 for sidewalk cruising. 35kms is a lot of speed more than plenty.

    If you are wondering how long a charge lasts, that depends on how much you give respect to the scooter. It self charges when you coast or use brakes. The longer you coast without using the accelerator will send charge back to the batteries. If you do it right you can keep it fully charged that way. I keep a close eye on my charge indicator. I drive a lot of kms in a week so I run on a single charge that last that whole week. I can almost get 2wks out of it, but I don’t push my luck. It is a lot of work to push-peddle if the batteries do die.

    I think it also gets a boost from Brake usage, but I tend not to use my brakes at all, that way I cause less wear and tear on the scooter. When I do stop, I time my approach and then do a bit of a jump-off and non-stop a short ways.

    Safety makes these scooter last a long time. I don’t stunt or play stupid daring things like jump curbs. For good reason; the tires are air filled with inner tubes and hard impact, cracks and potholes in the roadways and sidewalks are likely to blow out the tires as a result.

    Therefore the true and only downfall of these scooters are that they are innertube filled.

    Even with that North49 backs their equipment. I have a great repore with them as they do me. They only had to deal with my flat tires and fixed them overtime. Along with that they also tune them up by checking brakes and power.

    The best part of with these scooters, they fold up and become allowable to take on public transit. I use mine a lot for work purposes.

    When these first came out there was an introductory price of nearly half off so I bought two of them. Because it is a sport use item with moving parts I often buy two in case one needs repair.

    I have never looked back at another scooter. These machine are quiet, smooth, easy to operate, and easy to go almost anywhere. What can I say…. These are awesome machines for power in a small package.

    . You get what you pay for, so if you can’t afford it and you do buy Amazon, you WiLL regret it if you try these machines even once. You can even go to the North49 showroom and test drive them. It is worth it.

    I love these things.
